Jogging body

1.7, such an insignificant number, a number so small that if it had a face you could not help but find it cute.  Though to me this week that number is a grand number, the best number I have seen in a long time and I am very grateful for that number because it means my hard work is finally starting to pay off.  

Since October I have been working on getting fit and shedding a few extra rolls (not the ones you buy in Morrisons, though they probably aren't helpful) but after hearing for weeks on end, "It's probably being replaced by muscle, you will see a change soon."  I stopped weighing in until 2 weeks ago and soon has finally come my 2nd weigh-in and I stepped eyes closed onto the scales, slowly opening my eyes the fear was replaced by excitement, I had managed to loose 1.7lb!

I had just told my friend that should my weigh-in show no loss this week I would never return to the gym again.  Thankfully I didn't have to keep that promise as I have become rather addicted to exercise and pushing myself past my own limitations.  This week I managed to reach my 5k goal in 48mins (I did walk some of it)  and now I know I just have to work on reducing my time and maintaining a jog.  So all in all this has been a good week for my weight loss and fitness goals and soon I will have that jogging body that I'm after, how has your week been?
