Country Kids - Thank You Sunshine

I've been so busy recently that outdoor fun has been few and far between, little man has either been on play weekends with his sister and her dad, at nursery whilst I'm at work or he's been tagging along with me to conferences or meetings.  So today with the sunshine appearing far too regularly not to be taken advantage of we decided to take a journey and visit Crystal palace park and farm.

My front garden is overgrown with beautiful flowering weeds at the moment so little man stopped to pick one before we left, one down, hundreds to go!

Usually when we go to the park little man runs for the swings, but not today, today he wanted to play in the sand, or rather dig for treasure.

He seems to be a little obsessed with going on a treasure hunt recently, alongside his other obsessions which are:
1. Travel to the moon to have kinder surprise whilst visiting the aliens.
2. Going on holiday and driving a boat.
3. The story of Goldilocks and the three bears.

I have tried to pretend to go to the moon with him but he's insisting that we must REALLY go to the moon, any idea's are welcome.

We had lots of fun in the park then walked through enjoying the scenery and feeding the geese before going up to the farm and saying hello to the many animals in this small city farm

We even got to buy more plants for our garden so when we got home we continued the outdoor fun mowing the lawn and planting our new plants.  I love how little man is so into gardening, he really puts me to shame.

And guess what...

I haven't killed the tomato plants yet!
