Brown Bear

I was so proud of my little man this week.  I had to do a first aid course on Friday.  That meant leaving him in the creche.  I was a little anxious that he would cry or get upset when I left him, but he was brilliant, he said goodbye then went off to play with one of his little friends.

I enjoyed having that time to myself to do something productive and it let me know that little man was finally ready to leave my side for longer periods of time.

This week we have been doing lots of reading but two books in particular have been little mans favourites, 'Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?' and 'Mickey Mouse, A Magical Story.'

Brown Bear has been good for helping little man start to recognise colours and has been a great tool to use alongside the 'colour play' with have been doing.

Mickey Mouse is a book that his godmother Chan brought him, he loves it, I don't.  It's a really lovely story but for me it drags on, I love Disney characters in general and Disney films are amazing but I have never really been one for Disney story books.  I could watch 101 Dalmatians 101 times but the book bores me.

We love reading, do you have any books you'd recommend?
