Weigh in week 2

Last week I was extremely excited that I had actually started to lose weight 1.7lb seemed like a lot to me but when I went to put my weight in my weighing app this week I realised last weeks entry had been put in wrong.  I edited  it not thinking much of it until I saw my weight loss come up.  I had in fact lost 6.9lb in two weeks!  

Going to the gym and home workouts on my 'off days' has apparently been doing the trick.  That and the fact that I'm trying my hardest to fill myself with nutritious meals.  I don't expect my weight loss to be that much consistently but it has given me the boost I needed to keep going.  Oh and I managed 5k in just over 46 minutes at the gym this week, go me!

I haven't been juicing much recently but thought I'd share one of my juice recipes with you.

Ignore the apple in the photo as I changed my mind substituted that for frozen blueberries!


Ingredients:
hand full of spinach (any kind will do)
1 pear
1 mango
teaspoon of ginger
juice of half a lemon
1 tsp of honey
1 hand full of blueberries
3 ice cubes
approximately 1 cup water

Method
Peel and chop your mango and pear
grate your ginger
wash and squeeze your spinach
and put all of the ingredients into the blender


There you have it, a delicious nutritious smoothie.
