Fun with Mega Bloks (a review)

I am one of those mothers that believe having a lego set is a right of passage for any child.  I must admit that the cost of lego has risen a bit since my daughter was young so I had purchased little man a cheap set of building blocks.  Let me tell you, you certainly do get what you pay for and within weeks they were broken up and bin worthy.  So when I was given the chance to review Mega Bloks I jumped at it.

Little man couldn't wait to get his open when they arrived in their eco friendly packaging and to be honest he wasn't the only one looking forward to some MegaPlay so I sent him and his sister armed with my camera phone off to play.

One of the things I like most about Mega bloks is the fantastic colours that they come in which are great for teaching little ones as you build.  My little man already knows his but it is still a brilliant tool to reinforce his learning.

With the British weather being terrible recently we haven't yet had a chance for some MegaOutdoorPlay but will certainly make some time once it clears up.

Little man honestly loves his Mega Bloks and would take them everywhere with him if he could.  Head over to their facebook page and check out all the options they have for indoor and outdoor fun.

Little man is into building towers at the moment and Mega Bloks are great for helping develop children's fine motor skills, what do your little ones like building?

We were sent a big building bag of classic Mega Bloks for the purpose of this review
